mare is a modular vessel series – an experimental field for shapes, colors and proportions.
Eight mold pieces could be used to create 24 different vessels. We have compiled some of them as the mare vase collection.
All vases are made exclusively from recycled porcelain. The color of the body varies from gray to gray-blue, depending on the batch. The vases are glazed only on the inside and remain bisque on the outside.
For the edition gelato, colored porcelain slip in peach pink, lemon yellow and sky blue was sprayed onto the vase in a gradient.
